About the Artist

Jack Jacques photographs the ache beneath the surface of modern gay life.

Born in 1998, Jacques explores isolation, loneliness, the male image and the distance between how men appear and how they feel. He approaches these subjects romantically, finding tenderness without disguising unease. Beauty does not resolve loneliness in his work; it gives it shape.

Jacques became a photographer after a friend noted his resemblance to Hervé Guibert. The comment led him to buy an original German-made Rollei 35 - the same camera Guibert used throughout his career - and discover the late writer and photographer’s work. Following Guibert’s thematic and autofictional tradition, Jacques documents his own life through encounters, loves and passing moments in the street.

Working across Europe, Jacques was included in Corporeality at Paris Photo 2024. His photography has also been selected for PhotoVogue and recognised by Taylor Wessing, the IPA and the Monochrome Photography Awards.

Simply put, our standard frames use pine and our premium frames use oak or ash (depending on the colour selection).

How long will my print last?

We use museum-quality materials. Under normal indoor conditions, your artwork is designed to last for decades without noticeable fading.

While no print should be placed in prolonged direct sunlight, our inks and materials offer excellent resistance to light exposure.

How easy is it to hang the prints?
