Collection: Oscar Arrais

Oscar Arrais is a multidisciplinary artist exploring identity, transformation, and spiritual renewal. Born in Brazil and now based in Adelaide, he discovered art as a way to make sense of the world. After studying across several disciplines and moving to Australia on a scholarship, Oscar worked as a design consultant, where his fascination with discarded materials began. Using rescued fabrics and leather offcuts, he developed a practice that celebrates imperfection and reinvention - transforming waste into meaning through an artistic and spiritual lens.

Oscar's launch collection with The Rainbow Collective 'Queer Flesh, Sacred Soul' continues this journey of renewal. Built from reclaimed textiles, the series explores queerness, vulnerability, and transformation through bold colour, layered texture, and emotional honesty. Each collage reflects the tension between what is seen and what is felt, echoing the resilience of queer identity and the beauty found in what’s been overlooked. Oscar positions the queer body as sacred territory - a vessel for memory, emotion, and healing - reminding us that love and self-acceptance are acts of resistance and rebirth.
