MATT GOLD

Based in Pittsburgh, PA, Matt Gold is a queer mixed-media artist working across photography, digital art, and music. His creative journey began in 2008 with a simple photo of his cat, taken on a Sony Ericsson Z310A flip phone - a modest start that evolved into an exploration of the creative possibilities of mobile photography and digital experimentation.

Gold’s work has since been featured in numerous publications and journals, and his collaborations include Jones Soda’s PRIDE 2023 campaign and Beeple’s Election Night Exhibition, where his bold, thought-provoking visuals stood alongside digital art’s leading innovators.

Through his collaboration with The Rainbow Collective, Gold presents a series of collections - Digital Dystopia, Warped, Midnight Dolls, and Pop Box - that challenge perceptions of gay identity, masculinity, and sexuality.
