About the Artist

John Douglas is an award-winning Australian multimedia artist whose exhibitions have received critical acclaim and caused controversy both in his home country and internationally. 

Douglas was expelled from the Queensland College of Art for being a “disruptive and disturbing influence”. More than four decades later, he is still making work on his own terms. His radical act now is to paint happiness.

Across changes in subject and style, John's distinctive saturated colour and expressive brushwork create a cohesive collection. It takes us into a world that’s humorous, innocent, sensual and gently subversive.

Simply put, our standard frames use pine and our premium frames use oak or ash (depending on the colour selection).

Both are crafted from responsibly sourced wood providing natural elegance that complements a variety of artistic styles.

How long will my print last?

We use museum-quality materials. Under normal indoor conditions, your artwork is designed to last for decades without noticeable fading.

While no print should be placed in prolonged direct sunlight, our inks and materials offer excellent resistance to light exposure.

How easy is it to hang the prints?

Very easy. Our pieces arrive framed and ready to hang.
