Robert Neat

From the moment he first discovered the magic of colour, light, and shadow in art, Robert Neat has been driven to create. With a background in dance and gymnastics, his work is infused with an intimate understanding of movement and form. Robert captures both the power and vulnerability of the body through acrylics (often metallic), watercolour, oil, glitter, alcohol inks, and layered mixed media.

His art is both a celebration of the human form - through a unique queer lens - and a reflection on life - who we are, where we’re going, and the lessons of where we’ve been. Each piece is a personal interpretation of the world around us, inspired by the endless shapes, textures, and stories found in nature and humanity. Robert’s creative vision invites us into a space where movement is eternal, beauty is everywhere, and self-expression knows no bounds.
